S.T.R.I.D.E. Gathering for Survivors of Gender-Based Violence

Do you want to help build a community of healing, advocacy and support?

Tuesday, November 21, 2023

Join us for a social gathering to build meaningful connections, create change, learn about healing and support other survivors of GBV on November 30!

S.T.R.I.D.E. (Safety. Transformation. Reconnection. Integration. Determination. Empathy.), a part of the Pathways To Thrive project, is a group of women and gender-diverse people who have experienced Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and want to advocate for change, build a supportive community of survivors, advise with their lived experience or take part in research, training, and education. We understand that time and energy are limited commodities for many and have created three types of membership in STRIDE so individuals can determine the level of participation they want to take part in.

Join us  in a casual environment for an informational session on STRIDE, connect with others who have experienced GBV, and begin the journey of building a beautiful community in a trauma-informed, anti-oppressive, gender-affirming and safe(r) space.

Date and time: November 30, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
Place: The Holman Grand Hotel, Charlottetown
