WNPEI invites all survivors of GBV, and individuals involved in the AWAPEI events with Pathways To Thrive, Chrysalis, sanARTe, Sisterhood Soul Sessions, STRIDE and Thriving In Color

Ready to get creative, connect with community, and share your story through photos? The Art of Thriving invites you on a journey of self-expression, healing, and collective strength — all through the power of images and reflection.

Whether you’re new to photography or just love the idea of telling a story in a unique way, these free online workshops are for you!

Workshop Dates (5:30–7:30 PM):

  • May 13 – Finding Metaphor & Meaning

  • May 20 – Reflections on Healing & Hope

  • May 27 – Ethical Sharing in PhotoVoice

  • June 3 – Workshopping Your Photos

Exhibit Dates:

  • June 12 at Charlottetown Learning Library (5–8 PM)

  • September at UPEI (TBA)

Everyone is welcome — come for one workshop or join them all!

Photos and captions are to be submitted no later than June 4th at 6 pm. With your consent, photos will be displayed on WNPEI's website and select photos will be displayed at a Photo Exhibit at the Charlottetown Learning Library. Invite friends and family to celebrate with us at the exhibit and see what stories emerge.
